Head of CCMA: Work days lost by strike action higher in other countries

In an interview with Business Report, Nerine Kahn, head of the CCMA pointed out that when compared with eight similar sized economies around the world, South Africa is in fact, ranked the lowest with regards to the average number of work days lost per year due to strikes.

In the interview Nerine Kahn states:

 “Even though as a society we think we are always hit by strikes, we are actually not as bad as other countries.”
